A pair of decent shoes is always the best. I don't understand why Singaporeans are so proud of it, Flip Flopping around the cities in it. Most lamest reason I get from people is our humid weather or they just wanna let loose from their daily 9-5 work attire. Your foot does most all the work the very second you start rise to walk & travel, at any given time & space is expose to all types of debris, substances, materials, forms, objects, angles, machinery indoor + outdoor; i.e. (train doors, glass doors, wet floors, bar stools, movable chairs, train & platform gaps, trolleys, steps, escalators, crowd & many you can think of, (do feel free to add if you can think of any)...etc. It's like a ticking time bomb accidents waiting to happen. http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=4200198n Flip Flops or Slippers is one of the worst thing ever design by human. Baggage compartment fires. Three-hour delays on the tarmac, followed by return to gate and four more hours in an airport lounge, with a bag of potato chips each as our food allowance. Followed by a transatlantic flight with my knees squashed just about into my chest. Oh well. The first two weren't really their fault.
